Autechre have been at the high end of distorted electronica since the early 90's. They are pioneers in their genre of IDM (intelligent dance music.) Their music will not be to everyones taste, but this video is a very good example of the correlation between sound and video.

That's really a very good example of direct correspondence between audio and visuals, thank you Dave! The exact opposite of what someone like Hype Williams does, for example, with the rhythmic hesitations and hypersyncopation techniques of The Rain video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHcyJPTTn9w
